FPCX flat panel CPU
The FPCX is a small, low cost, panel mount display computer for user interface applications. The overall dimensions of the FPCX are 4.6" H x 9.5"W x 1.5"D with the numeric keypad, and 4.6"H x 5.7"W x 1.5"D without. The FPCX is a complete OEM user interface CPU with display, keyboard, serial and parallel I/O, solid state disk, built-in ROM-DOS, LCD power supply, and PC/104 expansion. Since the FPCX is PC compatible, standard PC development tools and languages can be used for application programming. The FPCX display is a 320 by 240 resolution monochrome, graphic, CCFL backlit LCD. Backlight intensity and contrast are software controllable. Text display modes include a 20 character by 8 line mode (16x28 font), a 40 character by 17 line mode (8X14 font) and a 53 character by 30 line mode (5X7 font). Graphics are handled directly by the FPCX BIOS (drawdot, drawline, and bitblt.) A BGI graphics driver is supplied to support Borland compilers. The keyswitch array surrounds the display area so that the keys can be labeled in the display. The FPCX CPU is a 14.7 MHz PC compatible processor (NEC V40) with 640K of system RAM and a 128K BIOS EPROM The disk emulator has three 32 pin sockets for EPROM, 5V flash, or battery backed RAM disk. The on card disk emulator is supported by the FPCX BIOS, and appears to the system as a standard hard disk. Disk emulator capacity is 1.5 M byte. All utilities for using the disk are provided with the FPCX. The FPCX requires only +5V power for operation, since all display and RS-232 interface power are generated on card. On card I/O includes a battery backed clock/calendar, floppy interface, three serial ports, two of which are 16C550 compatible, a bi-directional parallel printer port, 8 user I/O bits, a standard PC keyboard port, and an 8 input, 12 bit A-D converter. Additional I/O can be added via the PC/104 expansion site on the back of the FPCX.

The FPTX is a complete embedded system user interface CPU with display, keyboard, serial and parallel I/O, network interface, and solid state disk. The FPTX has ROM-DOS pre-installed in its BIOS EPROM, and needs only your application program to make a complete user interface. The FPTX display is a 320 by 240 resolution active matrix color LCD with variable brightness CCFL backlight . Display dot pitch is .33 mm. The particular display used with the FPTX has a wide (-30 to +85 C) temperature range making it suitable for vehicular and industrial applications. The display controller is fully VGA compatible but displays the upper left 1/4 of a standard VGA screen. BIOS support is provided to scroll through the full VGA region. FPTX backlight intensity can be adjusted via built-in software commands. The keyswitch array surrounds the display area so that the keys can be labeled in the display. The keypad scanner can scan up to 96 keys for custom keypads. The FPTX requires +5V @ 1.2 A max (CPU power) and 9-16V @ 1.0 A max (backlight power) for operation, An optional regulator allows operation on a single 9-16V supply The FPTX CPU is a 40 MHz 386SX PC compatible processor (ALI M6117) with 4 M bytes of RAM standard. Additional RAM can be added by the user up to a total of 8 M bytes. A numeric co-processor can be ordered as an option. EEPROM setup storage and watchdog timer improve system reliability. The standard flash disk has a capacity of 2M bytes but the FPTX can be ordered with up to 8M bytes of flash disk. The flash disk uses NAND flash chips for high performance and long life. The flash filing system is built into the FPTX BIOS. Utilities for using the flash disk are provided with the FPTX. On card I/O includes a battery backed clock/calendar, 10BaseT Ethernet interface, floppy interface, IDE interface, two 16C550 compatible serial ports, one of which can be ordered with a RS-485 interface, a bi-directional parallel printer port, 8 user I/O bits, a standard PC/AT keyboard port, and an 8 input, 12 bit A-D converter. Additional I/O can be added via the 16 bit PC/104 expansion site on the back of the FPTX.

PMPC2 flat panel CPU
The PMPC2 is a compact, complete, embedded PC for controller and user interface applications. Overall dimensions are 7.24W x 5.43H x 2.6D (no numeric keypad) or 11.1W x 5.43H x 2.6D (including numeric key-pad). Both dimensions include the back cover The PMPC2 display is a 1/4 VGA (320X240 pixel) monochrome tranmissive or transflective LCD with variable brightness CCFL backlight. The display controller is fully VGA compatible, with the LCD showing the upper left quadrant of the standard 640X480 VGA display The PMPC2 CPU is fully PC-AT compatible and is complete with all the standard AT I/O, including battery backed up real time clock, and keyboard controller. System RAM can be 4 or 8 Mbytes. The on-card flash drive is supported by the PMPC2 BIOS and is available in 4, 8, and 16 and 32 Mbyte capacities. Two FIFOed serial ports are provided as is a bi-directional parallel port. One of the serial ports can be configured for RS-485 interface levels. A 1.44M floppy and IDE interface allow external storage if needed. The 10BaseT Ethernet uses the Cirrus Logic CS8900 and has drivers for most network systems including packet driver, ODI, NDIS2, NDIS3, Linux, PSOS, VRTX etc. The membrane keypad has either 13 or 28 keys depending on whether the numeric keypad option is selected. The basic keypad has 13 display labeled keys. The numeric keypad includes F1, F2, enter and backspace User I/O includes 24 I/O bits and an 8 input, 12 bit A-D. The I/O bits are provided by a 82C55. The PMPC2 is housed in a BOPLA COMBICARD type case for flexibility in mounting and PC/104 stacking height

The FPWX is a tiny PC compatible CPU with integrated LCD graphic display and a thin, flat form factor (2.6"H x 4.5"W x 1.0"D). The FPWX is a complete OEM user interface CPU with display, keyboard, serial and parallel I/O, flash disk, and power supply. Since the FPWX is PC compatible, most standard PC development tools and languages can be used for application programming. The FPWX has ROM-DOS pre-installed in its BIOS EPROM, and needs only your application program to make a complete user interface. The FPWX display is a 128 by 64 resolution monochrome, graphic, backlit or reflective LCD. Text display modes include a 16 character by 4 line mode (8X14 font) and a 21 character by 8 line mode (5X7 font). Graphics are handled directly by the FPWX BIOS (drawdot, drawline, bitblt, region save and restore.) A BGI graphics driver is supplied to support Borland compilers. The on card flash disk is supported by the FPWX BIOS, and appears to the system as a standard hard disk. All utilities for using the flash disk are provided with the FPWX. On card I/O includes a RS-232 / RS-485 serial port capable of up to 115K baud, 16 bits of parallel I/O (2/3 82C55), an optional eight input, 8 or 10 bit A-D converter, and an optional battery backed clock calendar. A 64 pin PC-104 bus pin-out compatible header is provided for user expansion. Adaptors are available for ISA bus and PC-104 cards. A developement support card, the FPWXSSB provides two more serial ports, a floppy interface and a parallel port.
